Arab propaganda and most media always portray Israel as the aggressor. But if you scratch the surface, you'll realize this is not so. In fact, it's the opposite!
If there was no Palestinian terrorism, Israel would not need to send its army in the territories.
If there was no Palestinian terrorism, Israel would have no need for its security fence.
If there was no Palestinian terrorism, Israel would never have created checkpoints.
If there was no Palestinian terrorism, Arabs of the West Bank and Gaza would have their State and would prosper.
The cause of the conflict is the perpetual war Arabs have been waging on Jews for more than 100 years, therefore well before the creation of the State of Israel by the UN, in 1948!
Israel is accused of oppressing its neighbour. But why would a nation spend three quarters of its budget to oppress others?! Why would a democratic nation voluntarily create a situation where its soldiers and citizens are being continuously killed and murdered?! Why would that nation sabotage its own economy? Why would it willingly create a situation where tourism is greatly reduced and its population in a continuous state of high anxiety? What would be the point of such actions? Do you see a benefit? It makes no sense.
Israel is not the cause of the conflict. The conflict exists because Arabs refuse to accept a non-Muslim presence on land they consider theirs. And yet, if the Israelites, w ho have lived in the Land of Israel for 5000 years, don't have the right to be there, what People in the world has the right to live in their country? How can one say the French have the right to live in France? The English in England? These nations did not even exist when King Solomon looked upon his Temple from the terraces of his palace in Jerusalem.
For 60 years, Israel and the international community have been offering a State to the Arabs of Palestine, but they've always refused and asked for the destruction of Israel instead. In September 2000, Yasser Arafat said no to an offer that included 97% of the disputed territories. He didn't even make a counter-offer. He simply launched the 2nd intifada.
Yet, despite being the target of thousands of terrorist attacks, Israel is willing to share its ancestral home with the Arabs. But they want nothing less than Israel's destruction. Hamas says so openly.
Today, Leftist parties and pro Palestinian groups proudly march under a common anti Israeli platform, supposedly based on human rights, side by side with extreme Right Jihadists who deny female equality, preach death to gays, promote censorship, and endorse suicide bombing against innocent civilians.
We must stop believing Arab and Islamist propaganda. When Israel is destroyed, the Islamists will come after our country and it's our blood that will be shed. Once Jews are exterminated, Christians will be next "the Crusaders", then people of other religions.
If you truly want peace, speak up against terrorism. Support Israel and not its enemies.
