Flyer given out on June 2, 2006THE HISTORICAL IMPOSTURE OF THE "PALESTINIAN REFUGEES" Israel was created 3200 years ago. During the millennia that followed, it was invaded by numerous people: the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Byzantines, the Arabs, the Crusaders, the Ottomans, the French and finally the British, from 1917 to 1948.
The Arabs are therefore one among many that have invaded the Land of Israel. To speak of their historical rights of return is an absurdity.
In 1948, the Arabs abandoned everything under the pressure of the Arab media in order to allow a "war of extermination of the Jews and a colossal massacre that would be remembered" (excerpt from the Lebanese paper El Houda, 8-6-1951). They settled elsewhere and lost all their moral and human legitimate rights on the land they occupied. The Palestinian "Law of Return " is therefore without foundation both historically and religiously.
A vast number of Arabs chose not to leave and have become Israeli citizens. They and their descendants now number over a million. Their destiny is quite different from that of the majority of their cousins who have been dumped in camps by their Arab brothers in order to be exploited politically.
International aid was provided to Arab refugees as early as 1948. Calculated on Western criteria, this aid allowed its recipients to have a standard of living far superior to the one of the population in surrounding countries.
Therefore, a large number of non-refugees registered with the UN services. In September 1949, there were already 1 million "Palestinian refugees", which is 40% more than in January of that year. In 1950, there were 1.3 million "refugees", an increase of 100% from the original number! There are now 3.5 million "Palestinian refugees", all still aided by the UN. More than 1.5 million of them are in fact Jordanian citizens!
Many exoduses have occurred in the world since 1948. The Palestinian-Arab exodus is the only one that has received an international aid of such magnitude and for so long. The "Palestinian refugees" are the only ones whose refugee condition was proclaimed hereditary. Therefore, their children born in Jordan, Lebanon or elsewhere are also considered as refugees. The Palestinian Arabs are also the only ones who claim a right of return, 55 years after the fact.
The 75-million descendants of Indian and Pakistani refugees of 1947 do not claim this right. The 3-million descendants of Christians, Jews and Moslems of North Africa who went to France in 1962 do not claim it. The 25-million Germans descendants of refugees of 1945 do not claim it. It is not claimed by the millions of descendants of Jews forced to leave Arab countries after 1948.

Despite all that, Israel is still in favor of a Palestinian State. But that State must be NEXT to Israel, but not IN IT'S PLACE!
THAT IS THE ROOT OF THE CONFLICT
