Some facts

Either by guilelessness, sensationalism or bias, the media often distort reality. We hope to here to re-establish the facts.

Did you know that Palestinian Arabs have perpetrated over 20 000 terrorist acts against Israel in three years? (as of December 2003)

More than 7 000 people have been injured or killed, including a great number of children.

It is overlooked that Israel kills civilians inadvertently in the pursuit of terrorists, while the terrorists deliberately target civilians in ways to maximize casualties and rejoice when these goals are accomplished.

Did you know there are little more than 13 million Jews in the world,
comprising less than 1/4 of 1% of the world's population!

Misinformation : October 2002, Hebron, Reuters suggests this Israeli soldier is attacking a Palestinian.

Reality: The woman is an Israeli trying to get to Palestinians. Arab shooters had just wounded 4 Israelis in their car.

Misinformation : "An Israeli policeman and a Palestinian student" says the caption of this front-page French magazine. Same type of text in the New York Times and Associated Press.

Reality : This bloodied "Palestinian" was in fact a Jewish student nearly lynched by a Paletinian mob!

Misinformation : The Palestinians are only asking for a State in the West Bank and Gaza.

Reality : Speech by Faisal Husseini, PLO representative, June 24, 2002: "If we agree to declare our State over the West Bank and Gaza - our ultimate goal is still the liberation of all historical Palestine, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean sea, even if this means that the conflict wil last another thousand years or for many generations..."

Children make up one third of Israel's population

During the Day of the Children that took place in November 2002, the Office of Statistics published a report indicating that there are 2 250 000 children living in Israel. Unfortunately, 27% of them live in poverty. A little-known fact.
